Baseball Style Poems, Set D

Baseball Styles Poems are a style I created where there are three stanzas with three lines in each and three words per line.

The pitch comes,
The ball goes,
Game is over.

The reporters come,
The story goes,
On the cover.

Games will come,
Heros will go,
Stories last forever.

Baseball the sport,
Baseball the game,
Baseball the art.

The best sport,
The best game,
Lives in hearts.

Baseball’s best sports,
Baseball’s best games,
Never to depart.

Hitting a triple,
Hitting a double,
Oh, what fun.

On the triple,
On the double,
Score a run.

Score is tripled,
On a double,
Game is won.
